Cory teaches individual guitar lessons at one business and can also teach privately in his or your home. With fifteen years of teaching experience, his philosophy is to tailor guitar lessons to fit any student’s personal needs and goals. Cory teaches students of all ages, from 8 to 80+. He is able to teach acoustic and electric guitar in styles including (but not limited to) pop, rock, metal, country, folk, jazz, and blues. Concepts and techniques taught include sight reading, music theory, composition, improvisation, fretboard knowledge, advanced guitar technique, and performance preparation.

Cory is the guitar faculty for the Spartan Youth Jazz Program. Designed for middle and high school students, students will get jazz combo or big band with other students. Classes are held on Wednesday, and students have public performances at the end of each semester. Click above or call the Community Music School for information.
